English Brass Bed Warmer - Image 1
This handsome brass bed warmer was most likely made in England in the early 19th century. The brass cover of the warming pan is hand decorated with delightful pierced floral bright work. The wooden handle is made of pine with humble turnings. This warmer measures 34.5" long and the pan is 11" across and 4" deep. The condition is good. There are no major dents but it does need a good cleaning. The set screw holding the handle in place looks like a replacement, and there is a chip in the turning on the handle where it meets the brass. See next photos for details.
